This does intrigue me as a potential format for the offseason FA additions if there is interest from the league. It would ensure that during the offseason when everyone is busy, it doesn't come down to a "first come first serve" format. Once a FA has been bid on, there could be a 24-48hr window (depending on preference) where others could also bid. I've always liked FAAB as a free agent adding option in other leagues, but as an offseason only use, it would be a nice addition.

And when Free agency opens in the offseason, teams can decide how much they "want" a player with the bids vs the current system where its kinda based on waiver order and more luck if you get the guys you want initially. With FAAB its more "skill."
