Tentative off-season schedule with dates

The time has come to start looking at the offseason schedule. This year being that much more exciting with the impending expansion draft.

The NHL draft is July 7-8, so we will be looking at opening the following:

-Trading opens: July 16th, 2022 @9am EST

-NHLFL Entry Draft begins: July 30th, 2022 @9am EST (usually takes 18-24 days - gives August to complete)

-Protection Lists due: September 3rd 2022 (size/position compliant (junior call ups from 2020) protect 20 from NHL/20 minors - may have more than 5 exposed)- 25/25/15)

-Expansion Draft: Begins September 5th, 2022 - Ends September 15th, 2022

-Free Agency opens: September 16th 2022 - Closes October 1st 2022 @8pm EST

-Final rosters submitted (no late exceptions this season, late submissions will result in a $1m cap penalty per day not submitted - it takes time to load Yahoo + update the boards): October 2nd 2022 @8pm EST

-Season begins: October 11th 2022

Dates are subject to change, but with all the extra going on this off season we'd like to ensure there is enough time to do everything correctly without having to rush at the end. Also ensuring it is spread out enough to give each part of this offseason the time and attention it deserves.
