Intentional tanking

Post by Steve-CanucksGM »

All of these matchups count towards draft position for the draft. If lineups are not set correctly, no matter which matchup you are in, it'll be considered intentional tanking. This is the one and only warning. Any team that does not set their lines for their matchups will be penalized with a 1m cap penalty per day that the roster was not set. The season finishes next Thursday, so 7 more days. The 1m per day will be applied to next season's team cap

Will there be an announcement at the end of the playoffs of what penalties were given out as I still see teams ignoring this ruling? Team parity is very important to the integrity of this league.

We have reviewed the draft rules, and the consolation rounds have zero effect on draft position. We were mistaken earlier saying otherwise. Due to this, no penalties will be levied against any team in the consolation rounds this season.

14. Orlando
13. CoolFM
12. Seattle
11. Pittsburgh
10. Toronto
9. Dallas
8. Vancouver
7. Ottawa

The top 6 will be determined by the NHL draft lottery on May 10th
