I play in three other leagues which are 16-20 teams deep and all it's done for those leagues are made the bottom-feeders terrible teams with very long roads to being competitive. As a matter of fact, one of the 16 teamers is contracting to 14 teams this year.

I vote no. I think 14 teams is the right number as it is.

I find expansion could be exciting and a good way to keep the league fresh. It'd make drafting more important, and the league deeper and ultimately more interesting.

It's just a poll to garner interest right now. Nothing is imminent yet.

With the NHL getting larger and soon to be 32 teams, I believe adding another fantasy team is good for the league. There will be more NHL roster players, and players salaries will only go up. Maybe it's not best to add one this second, but perhaps next summer. That way teams can prepare for the expansion draft, and the iron out the rules.

Open to the idea, but would depend on the parameters of the endeavor.

Also, I would assume a reduction in the NHL roster limit would be needed.

I would think we do not have the time to sort this through properly this off-season and it would have to be for next summer if anything.

I surely would vote against it for this summer at this time.

I'm content with the league size as is. Its already a struggle to fill your roster with players that can excel in multiple categories. An expansion,in my opinion, would require adding more categories in order to add more value to more players. In order to try and achieve balance.

Over the years we've tried to tinker with the categories and certain rules in order to try and achieve a more balanced league. Prior to that action, it was very 5 team heavy, where some of the original teams from the league were powerhouses who kept winning between themselves year after year. I think we're in a pretty sweet spot right now, maybe only requiring a few tweaks here and there to streamline it more.

Remember if we have 15 teams we can't do a "head-to-head" format so ultimately we'd need 16 teams if you guys wanted to keep that format.

Ohh yes. Well, it seems it may be doomed for now but could maybe be done when the NHL is officially expanded. Will have to look at it being done further down the road.

I think the league has a perfect balance right now. Those who are trade-happy have lots of partners to work with. Those who prefer to build slowly don't have too long a road to get what they need. It's decently challenging, but not so difficult that it's no fun.

If it aint broke, don't fix it I say. It's a no for me.
