It's official. The San Jose Sharks are relocating. San Jose Sports and Entertainment Enterprises has sold the team to The Seattle Hockey Partners. The Seattle Kraken will once again make their presence known in the Western Conference of the NHLFL. Commissioner Steve Lebert approved the decision last month but wanted to wait till closer to the season start to give the official green light. Earlier this summer the Sharks had just relocated to San Jose from Las Vegas. Things changed however when the previous Seattle Kraken GM Daniel gave up naming rights and relocated to Toronto. Interestingly, on July 23rd, 2020, GM Daniel won Seattle Kraken relocation rights by minutes, according to Lebert, so it's no surprise that the SharksGM jumped on this opportunity to relocate to Seattle.
