I saw this on twitter and thought it was fun. Sens (Ben) suggested I share it with the group.

Imagine you're an NHL player. You're signing your first real contract. Your agent is able to negotiate a 5 team no-trade list. Current team performance should have no bearing on this. It’s just fantasy - which cities/franchise you wouldn’t want to play in/for.

Which 5 teams are on that no-trade list?

My list, in no particular order, is:

Winnipeg, Buffalo, Edmonton, Ottawa, and Boston.

Fun question to ask.

Based on personal bias, I wouldn't want to go to Boston or Toronto.

Based on location, Edmonton or Arizona would be two teams I'd avoid.

One team I just don't seem to like for whatever reason is Minnesota. Great hockey state and seems like a nice place to live, but there's something about the Wild that just seems tough to connect.

I'd be happy to play pretty much anywhere, I'd only be filling this out as a formality. Though these would be the places I'd least like to live in, except Toronto and Montreal. They'd be great cities to play in, but growing up a Sens fan I'd just rather not. That being said, I would still waive if they traded for me.
